School

Summary:
“Bullying in School”
If we talk about
bullying, we will know that bullying is very dangerous and make negative impact
for everyone especially for young generation. From the passage the author write
about almost everyone ever got bullying. This passage talk about the dangerous of
bullying especially for student in school. From the passage, we can see the
example of bullying victim. Nathan
Feris, a seventh-grader at High School in DeKalb, he always get bullying from his
friends. And then, he decided to suicide. It seems that bullying has been a
seriously problem in Schools.
But, Why, then,
do school officials, teachers, and parents often appear to take so little notice? One reason
may be because many adults consider bullying to
be
a
normal
part of growing up.
Therefore, the author this passage make a research
and survey about this problem. The survey contained the following definition of bullying:
"Bullying is a situation when a student or group of students is mean to you over a long period of time (weeks or even months). Bullying
can either be physical (hitting, kicking,
and
so
on)
or
it can be verbal (threats, name calling, gossiping, or ignoring)”. From the survey also we know that only 47% of the victims of
bullying in middle school are boys. Thus, according to the Students' own perceptions, the majority (53%)
of the victims of bullies are girls.
Because this is
a seriously problem for student in school, we have to solve it this problem. From the
passage, the role of school and parents is needed to solve and prevent this
problem. School can give education about the risk of bullying for student and
also the parents have to give attention to their children and always
communicate with their children about problem and their study in the school. It is important to recognize that bullying
does not have to be part of a child's
school experience. Hopefully, By working together, schools and parents can make going to school an experience
that students will enjoy their study.
If we look in
our country, there are so many case about bullying. But our law about this
problem still weak. Therefore, there are so many victim from bullying. But, our
goverment and society always try to decrease bullying in our country.
Hopefully, students and young generation can utilize their life to study and in
the future can make our country will be better than before.
